Why ISI?
As a skater who competed and tested in both organizations, USFS and ISI , I have made the decision to run an ISI school for many reasons. Skating is an incredibly difficult sport, and I believe children and adults should have the opportunity to showcase their talent no matter how preliminary or expert they may be. ISI is a family friendly and skater friendly organizations that gives skaters the flexibility to do as much or as little as they would like. some hallmarks incude :
- Encourages individuals to skate for FUN and enjoyment!
- Supports success by offering easily attainable testing levels for all ages and abilities.
- Offers opportunities for skaters to participate in exhibitions, shows, and in local and district competitions in many different event categories.
- Provides an opportunity for participation in at least five national/international ISI competitions each year in various locations across the USA which are open to all ISI members worldwide.
